What’s it all about?
I’m a writer, traveler, and woman currently starting over from scratch at the age of 40.
After ten years of living abroad, a failed marriage, and the end of a career, I am repatriating back to the U.S to rebuild my life from the ground up. Along the way, I am redefining what home, ambition, and identity mean in this new chapter.
Morgan in Wanderland is a weekly newsletter about personal reinvention, wandering (both geographically and metaphorically), and finding resilience while carving out a new path.
In this cozy corner of the internet, you will find the following monthly series:
Journal of Becoming
Longer essays on transformation, fresh starts, and embracing change
Field Notes on Starting Over
Listicles, anecdotes, practical advice and observations on all things starting over
Women Who Wander
Interviews with solo female travelers, expats, and women leading unconventional lives
Women Wiser Than I
Quotes from women who inspire me, reflections/journal prompts, additional resources and guidance from women who’ve been there
The Globetrotting Bookworm
A global book club reading books by women authors from around the world (Follow on Instagram!)
Stories from Wanderland
Flash and microfiction for a dose of creativity
Whether you're entering midlife, exiting a relationship, switching careers, relocating, or simply reimagining what's possible—you're not too late, and you're not alone.
This is not a how-to guide. It’s a field journal.
If you’re in a season of wandering, welcome. Let’s trudge through the muck together.
