You may have noticed my Substack has had a little makeover. It’s going through some changes, just as I am. I will be talking about that here more in the upcoming weeks. I mentioned in my June 14th newsletter that I would be adding an interview series as well as fiction to these newsletters. In addition to that, my main content will be shifting focus.
Some of you may know about the new adventure I am about to embark on, and I want to share that journey with you here. If you have ever had to start life over from scratch, gone through a big change, or had to navigate major endings and beginnings—you will relate to my (deeply personal) future essays. Final Substack book club wrap-up 💬
Speaking of Instagram, this video touched on a major theme in June’s book club pick Reservoir Bitches. In last week’s newsletter I also linked this TED Talk, which makes the same argument for reframing how we talk about violence against women. I will not be continuing with the podcast but am happy to have a final discussion on this book or its themes with anyone who is interested.
